Plain English summary: BluCruise is a cruise companion website. We collect almost no personal data. Your trip planning data (saved excursions, port guides, checklist) stays only on your device in your browser — we never see it. If you contact us by email, we store that email. Affiliate links we show earn us a commission if you book — you pay the same price regardless.
1. Who We Are
BluCruise is a cruise companion platform operated at blucruise.com. It is run by an individual operator based in Belgium. For the purposes of EU data protection law, BluCruise is the data controller for any personal data collected through this website.

2. Data We Collect
2.1 Data you provide directly

2.2 Data stored on your device only

- Saved shore excursions and port guides
- Pre-departure checklist state
- Cookie consent preference (
bc_cookie_consent) - Offline port guide download history
2.3 Data we do not collect
We do not collect or store: account registration data (there are no user accounts), payment card details (payments are handled entirely by Stripe), server-side analytics, IP addresses logged to a database, or any data from children.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use contact form data solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. We do not sell, rent or otherwise disclose your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.
Our legal basis for processing contact data is legitimate interest (responding to enquiries you initiate) under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
