Plain English summary: BluCruise helps you plan your cruise holiday by linking you to flights, excursions, transfers and cruise bookings through affiliate partners. We're not a travel agency — we don't take your booking. If you book via a link on our site, you book directly with that provider. We earn a commission. You pay the same price you'd pay going direct.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using blucruise.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site. These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the Site.
2. Description of Service
BluCruise is a cruise companion platform that provides:
- Information, guides and tips for cruise passengers at Mediterranean and Caribbean ports
- Affiliate links to flight search, cruise booking, shore excursion and transfer booking platforms
- Downloadable offline port guides for use without internet access
- A personal trip planning dashboard stored locally in your browser
- A Premium information plan (one-time payment via Stripe)
BluCruise is not a travel agency, tour operator, airline, cruise line or booking platform. We do not hold any travel licences (ATOL, ABTA or equivalent) and are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, excursion or transfer you book through affiliate links on our site.
3. Affiliate Disclaimer
Important: BluCruise participates in affiliate programmes. When you click certain links on our site and make a purchase or booking, we may earn a commission from the partner at no additional cost to you. You always pay the same price you would pay booking directly with that provider.
Our affiliate partnerships include:
- Viator / Tripadvisor — shore excursion bookings (Affiliate ID: P00296824)
- TravelPayouts — flight search, transfers via Kiwi.com, Kiwitaxi and Welcome Pickups (Publisher ID: 718759)

- Stripe — Premium plan payment processing
The fact that we earn commission does not influence which services we recommend. We aim to present accurate, useful information regardless of affiliate status.
4. Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure information on BluCruise is accurate and up to date. However, port information, local prices, scam alerts, emergency numbers and transfer times may change. We cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness or currency of any content on the Site.
The offline port guides available for download are provided for general information only. Always verify critical information (emergency numbers, visa requirements, entry conditions) with official sources before travelling.
Prices shown for excursions, cruises and transfers are indicative estimates only. Final prices are determined by the booking partner at the time of booking.
5. Third-Party Links & Services
The Site contains links to third-party websites and services. These links are provided for your convenience and do not signify our endorsement of those sites or their content. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites.
Your use of any third-party website or service is subject to that provider's own terms and conditions. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party services accessed via links on BluCruise.
6. Premium Plan
BluCruise offers a one-time Premium plan payment of €9.99, processed securely by Stripe. The Premium plan grants access to enhanced trip planning features.
- Payment is one-time and non-recurring. There is no subscription.
- By purchasing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
- EU consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of purchase, unless digital content has been downloaded or activated, in which case the right of withdrawal is waived upon activation.
- For refund requests, contact hello@blucruise.com within 14 days of purchase.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BluCruise and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the Site
- Any booking made through an affiliate link on the Site
- Reliance on any information provided on the Site, including port guides
- Missed cruise sailings, cancellations, delays or other travel disruptions
- Loss of data stored in your browser's localStorage
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Premium plan (if any), or €50, whichever is lower.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Belgian or EU law.
8. Intellectual Property
All original content on BluCruise — including text, code, design, logos and port guide content — is the intellectual property of BluCruise and protected by applicable copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use BluCruise to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure
- Scrape, crawl or otherwise harvest content without our written permission
- Transmit any malicious code, spam or disruptive content
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium and, where applicable, European Union law. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under EU law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
